Engineering Lead · Senior Software Engineer · Ilorin & Lagos

Who you would be working with

I take products from zero to production, and I bring the people with me.

Those two halves are the same job. Taking something from nothing to live is the part people hire for; leaving behind engineers who can keep it running is the part that decides whether it was worth it. I have never been able to do one well while ignoring the other.

So the work splits about evenly. I lead the engineering team at MRTEN, where I own a commerce platform that handles orders, money, stock and delivery for a business that depends on it being right. I am founder and CTO of PaySahbi, which I am building now. And I teach — a full programme at IOTBTECH, written down and taught from the same systems, because the fastest way to find out whether you actually understand something is to explain it to someone who will ask why.

I work from Ilorin and Lagos — and anywhere in Nigeria, mostly on systems where being roughly correct about money is the same as being wrong.
