For founders & businesses

From idea to live product, without the guesswork.

I have taken products from nothing to production and stayed to maintain them — a commerce platform, a marketplace across four surfaces, and a payments engine I am building now.

Currently taking new project briefs.

Scroll — it builds as you go
  • Seven platforms shipped

Commerce, marketplace, payments, health, membership, education

  • Founder & CTO, PaySahbi

A payments engine, being built now

  • Two years on one platform

    TIMSAN, maintained since 2024

How we will work

Five steps, and you get something concrete at the end of each one. No month-long silences.

  1. 01

    Discover

We work out what the product has to do and who it is for. I would rather kill a feature here than build it twice.

    You get
A written scope, and the questions we still need answered.

  2. 02

    Scope

The scope becomes a build plan with real dates and a fixed first milestone, so you know what you are committing to.

    You get
A milestone plan, a stack decision, and a fixed price for phase one.

  3. 03

    Build

You see working software every week, deployed somewhere you can click it. Feedback lands while it is still cheap.

    You get
A staging URL from the first week, updated as it grows.

  4. 04

    Launch

Production, monitoring, payments live, and a path you have watched work end to end before any customer touches it.

    You get
A live product and the runbook for it.

  5. 05

    Hand over

Documentation, access and a walkthrough with whoever maintains it next. That can be your team, or it can be me.

    You get
Repos, infrastructure access and docs in your name.

Selected work

Three, not thirty. Each one reads as a release: what was broken, what I did, when it went live.

Groups in Nigeria already save and pay together — contributions, instalments, shared targets — but they run it on chat threads and trust, with no ledger anyone can check.

Founder & CTO — architecture and build

    STARTFIRST BUILDSTAGINGLIVE

A chat-native group treasury and instalment platform — a public Engine API with a WhatsApp bot, an organisation console, a mobile app and a business product on top. Designed before it was written, with the blueprint in the repository.

Getting a task run for you means finding somebody trustworthy, agreeing a price, and both sides being protected if it goes wrong. Doing that over calls and bank transfers does not scale past people you already know.

Lead engineer — delivery, backend, and payments

    STARTFIRST BUILDSTAGINGLIVE

Four surfaces in production over nineteen months — the API, a Flutter app, an admin console and the marketing site — with payments that reconcile correctly through retries and duplicate callbacks. Built for a client, who is not named here.

A national student organisation needed a system that outlasts the executives who commissioned it — membership, events and communication that still work after everyone involved has handed over.

Engineer — API and front end, continuously

    STARTFIRST BUILDSTAGINGLIVE

Over two years of continuous ownership across the API and front end. The least glamorous entry here and, for anyone deciding whether to trust me with something that has to keep working, probably the most relevant.

Tell me what you are building.

A few lines is enough to start. I will tell you honestly whether I am the right person for it.
